2 cups quick oats
*2 scoops vanilla WPI protein powder (3/4 cup)
1-2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup honey
1/5 cup almond milk
INSTRUCTIONS:

You can store in an airtight container in room temperature
*WPI = whey protein isolate which is an easy digesting form of protein and is low in fat and lactose
Protein of choice = trueprotein
Depending on how large you want your cookies you can use 2btsp for a serve
INGREDIENTS
ENERGY OAT COOKIES

Pre heat oven to 180 degrees

Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl and make a well in the centre.

Pour in the wet ingredients and combine

Line a large baking tray with baking paper

Use a tablespoon to scoop out and evenly distribute your mixture on your tray

Slightly flatten each cookie

Bake for 15 minutes
NOTES:
Prep time: 5 minutes
Bake time: 15 minutes
Makes: 20 cookies

These cookies are a perfect PRE TRAINING snack as are high in carbohydrates and easy to grab on the go. They also make for a great morning tea at school paired with some fruit or yogurt for a balanced snack that fuel both the body and brain.
