*1/2 cup milk (I used almond milk)

1 large frozen banana

1/2 cup frozen blueberries/berries

1/2 cup ice

*1 scoop vanilla WPI protein 

*1 scoop chocolate collagen

*1 tsp creatine (optional)

1/2 tsp Cinnamon

*1/2 cup granola

INSTRUCTIONS:

​

*WPI = whey protein isolate which is an easy digesting form of protein and is low in fat and lactose

*Collagen = As an athlete I supplement with collagen to support my tendon and ligament strength, but this is an optional add in. 

*Creatine = Is naturally produced by the body but aids in supporting lean muscle mass as well as increases the supply of energy to your muscles during short bursts of intensity 

Protein of choice = trueprotein

Granola of choice = Sunsol chocolate protein granola OR my chocolate protein granola recipe found under Breakfasts 

INGREDIENTS 

PROTEIN SMOOTHIE PARFAIT

BASE: 

​

1. In a blender, add in your milk, banana, berries, ice, cinnamon and protein supplements (in this order to avoid the powder sticking to the sides of the blender) 

2. Blend until a smooth thick consistency occurs 

3. In a large glass pour 1/4 of your granola on the bottom followed by a 1/3 of your smoothie mix 

4. Repeat the above steps until no mixture or granola is left
