1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
3 tbsp honey
1 tsp chilli flakes (or more if you want it hotter)
2 sprigs fresh thyme
1/2 grind of lemon
1/2 juice of lemon
QUICK VERSION:
2 tbsp chilli honey ( i love Capilino brand)
Lemon juice to serve

You can store in an airtight container in the fridge.
*I marinate my halloumi overnight for the strongest flavour but you can leave for an hour or follow quick version

HONEY HALLOUMI

Slice up your halloumi

Combine all sauce ingredients in a container

Add halloumi and cover with the sauce as much as possible.

Shake if needed

Heat a pan and fry the halloumi on one side until golden.

Flip the halloumi and pour the rest of the sauce over and cook until golden and caramelised.
QUICK VERSION:

Chop and fry your halloumi and drizzle with your chilli honey
